Framed over a couple weeks at the end of November, this could be the last of the Gambrel truss styled barns of the past. This vintage Saskatchewan barn plan is 36 feet by 60 feet in size, has 16 foot walls on the main floor with a full loft upstairs. To the peak, the barn is 35 feet and has a gorgeous view across Saskatchewan Landing.
This project was completed in 8 days.
That morning, one of the young men came up to me and told me what the day will bring. He was very polite and called me sir. I went to work, and by the time I got back that day, everyone was gone and I had my new roof.
